Aerobots has been shown that the release of Trichogramma exiguum for the control of Diatraea spp. through autonomous aircraft is the future of biological control applications. Unlike releases with human personnel, applications of this type ensure greater viability of the parasitoids, since they are made at night when weather conditions favor the development and activity of Trichogramma exiguum. Aerobots has developed together with two partner companies, the application of biological controls using autonomous aircraft in order to guarantee a better control of the stem borer in sugarcane, reducing the costs and impacts of the pest in the crop, while it is environmentally friendly.
